Job Description
Minimum Requirements:
- BCom Degree in Accounting / Auditing
- Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles advantageous
- CA(SA) qualification may be advantageous
- Minimum 3–5 years’ audit experience
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, IFRS for SMEs, and auditing standards
- Proficient in CaseWare, Excel, and audit software
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise audit engagements from planning to completion
- Review audit files, working papers, and financial statements
- Manage audit teams and provide mentorship to junior staff
- Liaise directly with clients and build strong professional relationships
- Ensure compliance with auditing and accounting standards
- Assist with budgeting, reporting, and audit deadlines
- Identify risks and provide practical recommendations to clients
