Summary The incumbent serves as a Forensic Auditor in the Financial Investigative Services Division (FISD) within the Office of Science and Technology (OST), Financial Investigative Services Division. FISD is comprised of professionally credentialed Forensic Auditors who provide comprehensive financial investigative services supporting criminal investigations under the Bureau's jurisdiction. Responsibilities The major duties of the Forensic Auditor GS-0511-12 position include, but are not limited to, the following: Provides advice and assistance to ATF Special Agents and to federal, state, and local prosecutors as to his/her findings regarding the financial condition, sources, and uses of funds, and/or other financial aspects of the investigation. Plans and conducts financial investigations of persons or entities suspected of being involved in criminal schemes.
