About the Role
A fantastic Special Needs School in Swindon are seeking a dedicated Autism Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as next week. In this role, you will work closely with one child who has a primary diagnosis of Autism, as well as other associated additional needs. This is an excellent opportunity for a Psychology Graduate or Teaching Assistant/Carer looking to further their experience with SEND.
Responsibilities
- Help the student engage in classroom activities and develop their independence.
- Build positive relationships with other pupils and aid them with both verbal and non-verbal communication.
- Assist the class teacher and offer additional support to other pupils when needed.
