Job Description

About the role:

Based in Hokitika and reporting to our Head of Automation, we are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer who is a strong problem solver and a great team-player with a depth of knowledge in automation/electrical/process instrumentation systems, networks and process control software. You will be well versed in the installation, maintenance and calibration of industrial instruments and possess a passion for optimising plant efficiency.

Responsibilities include:

  • The design, installation, setup, programming and testing of systems/processes/machinery
  • Ability to use Honeywell DCS systems to perform daily tasks as required.
  • Be able to use Rockwell systems and AVEVA InTouch and System Platform.
  • Optimising plant efficiency by minimising downtime and minimising the R&M costs
