Automation Engineer
Hourly rate: $30.00 - $35.00
Please note this role is a continental rotating shift (12-hour shifts rotating between days and nights).
Key Responsibilities
Machine Setup and Changeover
- Set up machines per set-up parameters or program parameters and install requisite tooling according to production schedules.
- Perform changeovers, adjustments, and installations for each production run.
- Ensure proper alignment of tooling to the machine and that they are securely mounted to avoid operational and safety hazards.
Machine Operation Support
- Assist machine operators in adjusting machine settings to meet product specifications.
- Test new programs and support trial runs to ensure that the machine or program function properly and parts meet quality standards.
- Manage tooling wear and tear, elevate, and request necessary repairs as required.
