Summary:

The main function of an Automation Technician is to install, maintain, and troubleshoot automated systems and machinery used in industrial or production environments. A typical Automation Technician ensures optimal performance of equipment by performing diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and calibrate automated equipment and control systems Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues in automation systems
