Job Description
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in vehicles
Perform vehicle inspections, testing, and troubleshooting
Repair and maintain engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and steering systems
Use diagnostic equipment and automotive software to identify issues
Conduct preventive maintenance and servicing according to manufacturer standards
Assist in vehicle modification, installation, and upgrading of automotive systems
Read and interpret technical manuals, engineering drawings, and service reports
Ensure all repair work complies with safety and quality standards
Maintain records of repairs, parts usage, and maintenance schedules
Support engineers and workshop supervisors in technical projects and testing
Inspect completed work and perform road tests when required
