About us
The School of Engineering has a vacancy for an Automotive Power Generation Technician to join the wider technical team. The post will be based on the university’s Frenchay campus within brand new Engineering facilities, which include two engine test cells and a rolling road. This post is student facing and provides expert technical instruction and support to academics, students and researchers. It is an exciting opportunity to join this enthusiastic team delivering high quality engineering education at UWE.
About you
The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience of petrol and diesel combustion engines, and an understanding of the developments in hybrid and electrical power technology. Ideally you will have experience of teaching or mentoring, which is a key part of the role, and be comfortable and confident demonstrating systems and equipment groups and individuals.
