Autonomous Vehicle Wire Harness Development Engineer

Help develop hot autonomous driving technology for self driving heavy duty trucks! Lumenance seeks experienced, hands-on wire harness development engineers who can design electrical harnesses and more. This job requires the engineer to be able to do eCAD, mCAD as well as to help debug autonomous system installations. Successful candidates will be hybrid types who have a passion for solving transportation technology challenges.

Job duties:

Independently develop professional, manufacturable, cost effective wire harness designs

Interface with vehicle or equipment electrical system designers to ensure basic electrical requirements are understood and implemented

Develop wire harness routing designs in 3D CAD (Solidworks or other). This includes ensuring all harnesses are routed safely and securely and properly connect to applicable electrical units and mating harnesses
