Job Description
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of a migration pod , owning execution and outcomes across assigned workloads
- Drive wave-based VMware to Azure migrations from discovery through post-validation
- Execute application-level migration treatment plans aligned to program runbooks
- Perform complexity assessments (low/medium/high) and map to migration strategies
- Lead and direct Migration Engineer activities , ensuring quality and delivery pace
- Take ownership of high-complexity migration scenarios and technical problem solving
- Operate Azure Migrate and replication tools (e.g., ASR) at an advanced level
- Design and manage replication strategies and throughput planning
- Plan and execute cutover events , including rollback and contingency planning
- Contribute to and evolve migration runbooks and reusable pattern libraries
