Job Description
We are seeking a Backend Engineer who thrives on building scalable APIs and integrations that power AI-driven products . You'll design and develop the backbone of X-Demand — from model-serving APIs to ERP/e-commerce integrations — working closely with our Data Science and AI teams to bring intelligent systems into production.
Responsibilities
- Design and build REST/GraphQL APIs to serve ML model outputs (forecasting, pricing, inventory)
- Develop secure integration endpoints for external systems (POS, ERP, e-commerce)
- Work with Data/ML team to deploy models into production-ready services
- Ensure API reliability, versioning, and documentation for internal & external use
- Optimize performance, scalability, and maintainability of backend services
- Implement observability and monitoring tools to track API and model performance in production
