Unit Information: Emergency Department Location: Emergency Department Address: 100 McGregor St Floor: A Building: 2004 Building General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds - 4 in Annex (a secure locked psychiatric area holding for placement) 25 procedure rooms (rooms with curtains or doors) 8 hallway beds (utilized 24/7) Number of Staff – 88 (combined job titles) Type of staff: 7a-3a –1 Charge RN 7RN 3ED Techs 2RP Annex: 1 RN and 1 ED Tech 3a-7a -- 1 Charge RN 6 RN 2 ED Tech 1RP Annex: 1 RN and 1 ED Tech Patient Ratios – 4:1 (flexibility in times of acute surge) Type of equipment - U/S IV skills, Lucas Device, Hotline Rapid Infuser, Alaris pumps, Pyxis EMR – Sunrise/ Allscripts Patient Population - Multiple comorbidities, NEHI (New England Heart Institute) patients- complicated heart conditions, DKA, Sepsis, Trauma, Stroke Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have: candidates without these skills will not...
