Mantrac Ghana LTD is seeking to hire Backlog Clerk
Responsibilities and Duties
• Order, receive, store and stage Backlog parts to support the execution time
• Manage backlog database for CAT fleet and provide reports to support maintenance planning
• Handle warranty parts in accordance with Catepillar send it back (SIB) requirement and CAT warranty guide
• Perform regular audit and stock checks to ensure backlog process is followed
• Support maintenance planning team to drive down Work in Progress (WIP) age
• Ensure CAT reman components are handled in accordance with CAT reman acceptance criteria to maximise core credits from reman parts
• Ensure service reports received meet CAT Service Information Management System (SIMS) requirement
• Retrieve vital information from service reports, Pre-PM reports and inspection report for updating backlog database
