Job Description
Seeking an experienced **financial institution** Controller-level resource to support / oversee accounting operations, regulatory compliance, and process optimization. The Controller will ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain strong internal controls, and drive automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. Requires 5 days onsite in San Diego, CA.
**Pay Range: $75/hr-$90/hr**
+ Execute and monitor accounting operations, ensuring compliance with GAAP.
+ Produce complete and accurate financial reports and maintain an adequate system of accounting records.
+ Assist in executing the month and quarter-end close processes and review/release specified manual journal entries.
+ Review and approve analytical reviews and account reconciliations (including aggregation of 40 bank accounts).
