Position Overview
West Suffolk Professionals (WSP) recruit and manage all temporary staff within the West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust. We are seeking an experienced, qualified HGV Class 2 driver who will cover the Trust's Mobile Cancer Care Unit (MCCU) on occasional shifts as needed.
Eligibility requirement : You must hold a valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence and Driver’s CPC.
Key Responsibilities
The Bank Mobile Cancer Care Unit Driver will be responsible for:
- Delivering the MCCU from West Suffolk Hospital to a daily community location and returning the vehicle at the end of the treatment day.
- Setting up and preparing the MCCU for service upon arrival and securing it when closing.
- Driving the support vehicle between the hospital and the MCCU as required.
