Job Description
**POSITION SUMMARY:**
The Bartender ensures customer and server drink orders are prepared in a timely manner according to established guidelines while maintaining bar cleanliness standards.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:**
+ Supports a strong commitment to world class guest service and ensures a pleasant and enjoyable dining experience for restaurant patrons.
+ Functions as location’s expert on bar systems, recipes, procedures and knowledge of liquor, wine and beer served.
+ Completes all training requirements.
+ Greets bar guests promptly.
+ Uses suggestive selling techniques.
+ Records beverage order, enters order into computer system, prepares drink in accordance to established guidelines and delivers drink to guest.
+ Monitors guest’s drinks to anticipate re-order requests.
+ Collects monies owed and performs guest check accountability procedures; maintains a balanced Bar drawer; performs tip declaration activities.
