Powell is a manufacturer of switchgear and other electrical equipment. We are currently hiring a Base Painter at our Southeast Houston manufacturing facility. Schedule: Monday-Thursday 3:00pm-1:30am; OT as needed
Position Summary
Paint raw steel platforms and various products and equipment.
Essential Responsibilities
Paint raw steel platforms and various products and equipment.
Move platforms and various products using a overhead crane or forklift.
Perform Wet Painting tasks in a safe and timely manner.
On occasion be required to perform general labor and cleaning tasks as directed by your supervisor or leadperson.
Keep up with routine maintenance procedures and cleaning equipment.
Document inspections and paint usage in proper records.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or General Education Diploma preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience of wet painting, sandblasting ...
