A sex health advocate volunteer is responsible for providing education, resources, and support related to sex health and wellness!
Responsibilities
- Engage with individuals and communities to promote safe sexual practices, prevent sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and encourage responsible sexual behavior.
- May utilize social media apps or dating apps to reach out to larger community.
- Conduct workshops, distribute educational materials, offer testing services, and connect individuals to appropriate healthcare resources. Training will be provided.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential in this role.
- A non-judgmental and empathetic approach to discussing sensitive topics.
