We are seeking an experienced, motivated and creative Behavioral Health Nurse Director for our Hospital Nursing Unit in Chicago, IL. The Director oversees the administration, management, supervision, and development of mental health programs and delivery of behavioral health services. The Director provides and supervises mental health care services at the Nursing Center; including coordinating clinical programming, treatment planning, discharge planning, individual, group and family therapy and is responsible for providing clinical supervision. The Director evaluates patient care and assesses what is required by way of treatment; acts as a consultant for physicians and behavioral health care staff; delivers emergency and ongoing direct clinical service as needed; and evaluates patients when clinically indicated. ...
