Job Description
Job Description: The Behavioral Health Technician will provide supervision to CMH clients including transporting to appointments, assisting with ADL's redirecting negative behaviors, maintaining a safe environment for the clients, and maintain a clean environment for the clients. Additionally, they will be expected to work towards their certification as a Registered Behavioral Health Technician as required by the state and within the time frame set forth by the Vice President of Clinical Integration.
Role and Responsibilities
• Assist rehab staff in implementation of behavior protocols that are developed by the BCBA.
• Assist in novel data collection, making observations and documenting client behaviors and trends.
• Provide relevant corrective reinforcement and praise, for both clients and staff as appropriate. Feedback for staff would be specifically related to their implementation of Behavior Protocols.
