Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Benefits Assessment Officer for a Local Authority Client in East London.
In this role you will support residents in financial crisis by processing payments, maximising income, and improving financial resilience.
Duties:
- Process Crisis Support and Housing-related payments accurately and in line with policy
- Support residents to maximise income and reduce household costs through proactive advice
- Handle Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support claims and related casework
- Liaise with internal teams and external partners to deliver coordinated support for vulnerable residents
Qualifications and Experience:
