Astute’s Renewables team is partnering with a leading innovator in renewable energy production, specialising in biogas plants, to recruit a Day Shift Operator on a 12-month fixed term contract for their site in Dufftown.

Responsibilities and duties of the Biogas Shift Operator role
- Operating Anaerobic Digestion plant and associated equipment via a combination of automated (SCADA) and manual inputs
- Carrying out regular plant walkarounds to assess condition and capability of plant equipment. This includes the taking of meter readings daily.
- Complete minor maintenance tasks and record any findings on CMMS
- Carry out basic lab testing
- Operate mobile plant such a telehandler or forklift truck
- Ensure good standards of housekeeping are maintained
