Job Description
The Biomed Tech provides biomedical support including preventive maintenance and repairs to all Clinical/Patient related equipment. This position will service & maintain equipment in areas assigned.
Essential Duties:
+ Tests all equipment assigned to and under the jurisdiction of the Biomedical Engineering department.
+ Repairs and verifies the correct function of all equipment assigned to and under the jurisdiction of the Biomedical Engineering department.
+ Assures all equipment in the biomedical equipment management program receives preventive maintenance, electrical safety testing and calibration in the month due as indicated by the equipment management program.
+ Procures all parts required to assure the correct functioning of all equipment in the equipment management program in the absence of the Biomedical Engineering Manager.
