Job Summary:
To perform inspection, preventative maintenance, repair of medical equipment at customer facilities. Remote, work from home base, traveling to customer sites to provide service. Occasional travel to Office in Rochester, NY.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administrative:
- Reads and interprets medical equipment operation and maintenance manuals, schematics, and mechanical drawings. Use of all available resources.
- Must be able to travel as necessary to perform the technical tasks below.
- Technical
- Operates test equipment, such as, safety analyzers, ESU analyzers, defibrillator analyzers, and physiological input simulators.
- Uses common hand tools as required in the performance of job tasks.
- Troubleshoots and repairs: Electro-mechanical equipment, hydraulic, steam, electrical, and microprocessor based systems.
