Biomedical Technician I - Clinical Engineering - Long Island

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Biomedical Technician I - Clinical Engineering - Long Island.

In this role, the successful candidate, under close supervision, installs inspects, calibrates, and performs preventive maintenance on General Biomedical -electrical, electronic, and pneumatic patient care, diagnostic, monitoring, and therapeutic instrumentation throughout the Medical Center. Troubleshoots and repairs, a variety of instruments such as Infusion, Syringe, Enteral, PCA Pumps, SCDs, Pacemakers, Telemetry, Multi-parameter patient Monitors, Central Station Monitoring, Hypothermia Units, Lab equipment, etc. General Care Areas include but is not limited to Central Services, Labs, Physical/Occupational Therapy, and Dialysis
