Blood Program Subject Matter Expert

The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is possibly looking for a Blood Program Subject Matter Expert to provide support for our government customer in Falls Church, VA.

Description Of Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert guidance and coordination regarding the comparability of blood products and donor eligibility criteria between the United States and foreign countries.
  • Maintain a current understanding of international blood regulations, assessing the quality and safety of blood systems in designated countries, and providing recommendations to the ASBP regarding the acceptance or rejection of blood products sourced from those nations.
  • Collaborate with ASBP subject matter experts, the Department of Defense (DoW), and international partners to ensure the safety and availability of blood products for service members.
