**Purpose and Use**
Under general supervision, positions in this classification perform plant operation, testing, maintenance, and administrative functions as required for the safe and efficient operation of power boilers, gas turbine generators, steam turbine generators, and other equipment. Auxiliary Operators maintain a familiarity with and perform all work in accordance with MGE safety rules and practices to provide a safe work environment.
