Job Summary
The Control Room Boardman is responsible for overseeing and coordinating terminal operations to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted processes. This role involves providing clear instructions to shift teams, monitoring product movements, and ensuring compliance with operational and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the Logistics Department to execute feedstock and product movements smoothly, minimizing customer complaints
- Oversee commissioning and decommissioning of terminal facilities safely and in a controlled manner
- Respond promptly to operational issues by implementing corrective actions and maintaining accurate shift logs
- Investigate custody transfer discrepancies and issue Letters of Protest (LOPs) when necessary
- Monitor product transfers to ensure accuracy and prevent overfilling or spillage
