Job Responsibilities
- Drive completed motor vehicle, as vehicle comes from assembly line, on proving ground under simulated road conditions, and observe performance to detect mechanical structural defects and simulate actual driving conditions.
- Examine vehicle before road testing to ensure that equipment such as electrical wiring, hydraulic lines, and fan belts are installed as specified and verify that the vehicle has been serviced with oil, gas and water.
- Evaluate and document the condition of vehicles, including body, interior, and mechanical components.
