We are looking for an individual with strong technical and compliance knowledge of boiler operations who can work safely under permit and support inspections, water treatment regimes and ongoing plant integrity.
This is a niche role requiring formal boiler certification and a disciplined approach to safety, documentation and operational assurance.
Key Responsibilities
Operate steam and hot water boiler plant in line with SOPs and manufacturers’ instructions Monitor pressures, temperatures, water levels, alarms and interlocks Respond to abnormal plant conditions and carry out start-up, shutdown and emergency actions in line with EOPs Work in full compliance with PSSR, PUWER, COSHH, DSEAR and site rules Apply Safe Systems of Work, including SOPs, MOPs, EOPs and Permit to Work arrangements Support statutory and insurance inspections, including WSE Part 1 and Part 2 Ca...
