About the Role
Ahrens Group – Steel SA takes pride in delivering high-quality structural steel solutions, and we are looking for skilled Boilermakers and Welders to join our team at our well-established steel fabrication facility based in Kingsford, South Australia.
In this role, you will be working on precision fabrication and welding of structural steel components for major projects.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret drawings, work orders, and production schedules to determine job requirements.Safely operate manual and semi-automatic welding equipment to meet specifications and Australian Standards.Set up and use fabrication tools and equipment, including welding machines, grinders, and carbon rod gauging tools.Label, sort, and organise plate materials into product groups.Mark out, cut, drill, or punch holes in plate materials as per fabrication drawings.Layout, align, and assemb...
