Job Description
Responsibilities
- Responsible for operation and maintenance of the boiler
- Guardian of boiler operation to ensure steam supply adequate for production.
- Daily inspection at the boiler on gauge glass, safety valve, burner flame, chimney, smoke emission, exhaust gas temperature and level, circulation pump pressure, water supply tank and blowdown valve.
- Sent water sample to Laboratory for Total Dissolved Solid (TDS) test.
- Conduct inspection on steam piping and steam header in the plant.
- To assist the implementation of preventive maintenance for all machinery in the plant.
- Supervise boiler maintenance job for DOSH annual inspection.
- To carry out other instructions from superior on matters pertaining to maintenance job.
- Perform housekeeping in boiler room and wastewater plant.
