We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support additional workload on a project basis, with the possibility of extending into a full-time opportunity. This is an onsite role ideal for someone who can step in quickly and contribute to day-to-day accounting operations with minimal ramp-up time.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy across accounts
+ Prepare and post journal entries
+ Apply and reconcile incoming payments/checks
+ Assist with general accounting tasks and month-end close activities
+ Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Qualifications:
+ Strong accounting fundamentals and hands-on experience in similar roles
+ Proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks (QuickBooks experience strongly preferred)
+ Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
