Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial transactions and maintain accurate financial records. The role is responsible for supporting the finance function through effective bookkeeping, reporting, and administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in the accounting system
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank accounts, supplier accounts, and general ledger balances
- Maintain and update the general ledger
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts
- Assist with payroll administration (if applicable)
- Prepare and submit VAT returns (or relevant tax submissions)
- Maintain filing systems for financial records and documentation
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
