Job Description
Our client in the travel and tourism industry is seeking to employ an experienced Bookkeeper (Full Function to Trial Balance) to join their team based in Port Elizabeth.
To manage the full bookkeeping function across multiple entities, ensuring accurate financial records, compliance with statutory requirements, and timely reporting up to Trial Balance level in a multi-currency environment.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 10+ years’ experience in a full-function bookkeeping role
- Experience working with multiple entities and currencies (ZAR and USD)
- Exposure to hospitality or tourism industry – advantageous
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with foreign exchange and multi-currency transactions
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online / Zoho – advantageous)
