BOOKKEEPER (RETAIL CASH MNGT) R 30k pm - MUIZENBERG, CPT
We have a phenomenal opportunity for growth in a leading group for a Bookkeeper to take ownership of daily cash management and reconciliations across multiple retail stores. This is a hands‑on role in a fast‑paced retail environment, where accuracy, consistency, and the ability to resolve discrepancies quickly are critical.
What you’ll be doing: Perform daily bank, card, EFT and POS reconciliations across stores Match and clear transactions (credit cards, EFTs, Ozow, online payments, etc.) Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies with store teams Maintain accurate cashbooks and financial records Support month‑end by ensuring all clearing accounts balance Liaise with stores and internal teams to resolve queries efficiently RequirementsWhat we’re looking for: 2–5 years’ bookkeeping / finance experience ESSENTIAL: Experience in brick-and-mortar retail (multi-store environment) Strong experience with...
