We have an exciting opportunity for a new permanent Brief Intervention Clinician. We are seeking a vibrant, highly motivated health professional to join the Primary Mental Health Team (Waikato), to deliver equity health and wellbeing outcomes which is at the heart of what we do.
Reporting to the Clinical Services Lead – Primary Mental Health (Waikato), you will coordinate and deliver therapy groups for mild to moderate mental health presentations. You will support clients and their whanau to use practical tools that support their ongoing mental wellbeing beyond their brief intervention within the service.
You will have excellent interpersonal, problem solving abilities and the ability to challenge, inspire, influence, enable and encourage others. Whilst experience is preferred, we are open to considering new practising clinicians.
This is a part-time position working 20 hours per week.
