Summary The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Budget Analyst for the Financial Operations department of the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System. The position is responsible for budgeting for the annual operation of organizational and function areas and accounts, developing reports, writing procedures and providing training that will maximize the availability of sound fiscal data for managers to use in decision making. Responsibilities Conducts limited studies and analyses to develop required data and information for reporting purposes and prepares administrative reports. Reviews short-range budgetary and program requirements to assure their conformance with established agency policies and the intent of Congress. Evaluates operating plans for reasonableness of workload, obligations, and outlay data.
