Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter to join our maintenance team at Merry Hill Shopping Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the appearance and condition of internal and external areas throughout the centre and car parks ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for visitors, tenants, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, filling, and priming as required.
- Apply paint, varnish, stains, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, doors, mall areas, and communal staff areas.
- Carry out routine maintenance painting and decorative works across the shopping centre.
- Repair minor plasterwork, cracks, and surface defects before painting.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard with minimal disruption to shoppers and retailers.
