Building Worker (AUX)

Main Purpose and Function

The Building Maintenance Worker performs minor maintenance at NMHO buildings, with the goal of keeping buildings maintained in a safe and healthy manner and notifies the direct supervisor of the need for any building repairs and maintenance.

Specific Duties/Responsibilities

Performs a wide variety of routine repair, building maintenance and custodial work at various buildings within the NMHO portfolio.

Performs custodial, general janitorial and minor maintenance tasks including, but not limited to, replacing ceiling tiles, repairs and installs window blinds, minor flooring repairs, installing and repairing cove base, cleaning out laundry dryer vents and filters.

Minor electrical maintenance duties including, but not limited to, replacing light covers, bulbs, exit lights, fluorescent tubes, outlet covers and tags failed ballast for electrician.
