We are seeking an experienced Built-Up Commercial Roofing Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining built-up roofing (BUR) systems on commercial and industrial buildings. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and experienced working with asphalt, tar, insulation, and multi-ply roofing systems.
Key Responsibilities- Install, repair, and maintain built-up roofing systems on commercial properties
- Apply hot asphalt, roofing felts, insulation, and coatings according to manufacturer specifications
- Perform tear-offs and roof preparation for new installations and repairs
- Operate roofing equipment, kettles, torches, and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Inspect roofs and identify leaks, damage, and repair needs
