Job Description
GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Under general direction, the Technician is responsible for efficiently and effectively repairing and maintaining the school buses, trucks, and other vehicles and equipment owned by the district to extend the service life of each item. The Technician performs basic to semi-skilled mechanical service and repair work to diesel, propane, and gasoline powered vehicles and equipment, and is responsible for inspecting tasks upon completion to ensure compliance with technical specifications and principles of safe vehicle operation. All work is to be done in a safe and timely manner in accordance with industry standards. Performs related work as directed.
