About this opportunity
The Business Development Manager is responsible for productive working relationships with selected Mortgage Brokerage firms in all of our operating markets.
Reporting to the Director, Mobile & Broker Services, the Business Development Manager ensures that Meridian has the Mortgage Broker connections required to surpass our annual origination targets and acts as the primary steward and supporter of our Underwriting team.
The incumbent will also maintain a deep awareness of all broker lender product service offerings, rates and commission structures and advise on developing trends in broker landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the Go-to contact for all of our selected agents, brokers and Meridian Branch and corporate partners
- Administer onboarding discipline and review for all new broker firms ensuring that Meridian has the audit information needed to understand who we do business with.
