Role Overview
Reporting into the Procurement Operations Manager, this is a key role within the UK Local Procurement Team. The primary goal is to obtain goods or services at the lowest total cost while meeting specification, delivery, quality, and service boundaries. The role involves working closely with all departments to identify potential savings, maintaining and developing relationships with vendors/suppliers, and supporting the Central Procurement Team on specific tasks to help execute projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage purchase order processes and ensure purchases comply with company procurement processes and corporate payment terms.
- Issue and manage tenders and RFQs.
- Resolve queries/problems with purchases or suppliers to maintain high service levels.
