Job Description
Our client is a leading semiconductor manufacturer, specializing in advanced production and innovative solutions for the electronics industry.
Responsibilities- Perform direct purchasing of production materials, spares, and components.
- Review engineering drawings, BOMs, and specifications to communicate accurately with suppliers.
- Use SAP to create purchase orders, track deliveries, and update schedules.
- Ensure suppliers receive latest drawings and approved pricing; manage delivery schedules.
- Follow processes for ECN implementation, FAI coordination, and outstanding GR/IR follow-up.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and SCM to maintain inventory and recommend new suppliers.
- Support cost reduction initiatives by providing feedback to engineering.
- At least 2 - 3 years of direct buyer experience , preferably in semiconductor or manufacturing.
