Position Overview
The Buyer Planner is responsible for managing production planning, material procurement, inventory optimization, and supplier coordination to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role works cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, production, logistics, engineering, and suppliers to ensure material availability aligns with production schedules while balancing cost, quality, and inventory targets.
The ideal candidate brings strong analytical capability, ERP/MRP experience, and the ability to thrive in a high-volume manufacturing environment with changing customer demands and production priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage production planning activities to support manufacturing schedules, customer demand, and inventory objectives
- Execute purchasing activities for raw materials, components, and indirect materials based on MRP requirements and forecast demand
