Job Summary:
TheCAD Operatoris to support our mechanical contracting projects by preparing and revising shop drawings, as-built drawings, and layout plans based on project requirements and specified layouts for HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other mechanical systems.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Drafting & Design:
- Prepare 2D and/or 3D drawings for mechanical systems (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, fire protection) based on design sketches, calculations, and specifications.
- Develop shop drawings and coordinated drawings in compliance with project standards.
- Create as-built drawings based on redline markups and site feedback.
Coordination & Review:
- Work closely with mechanical engineers, project-in-charge, and other CAD operators for drawing coordination.
- Incorporate design changes, revisions, and markups accurately and promptly.
