At Itera Mobility Engineering , we are looking for a CAD Engineer, Body Engineering to join our automotive engineering team in Gaydon, UK.
The key objective in this position is to lead the creation of CAD models of components, systems, master sections to support the development of the vehicle body. Expectation to lead current processes as well as leading change through new / innovative process improvements.
Main functions to develop:
- Lead creation of 3D CAD models.
- Preparation of Part Manufacturing Information, either model based or 2D drawings.
- Management of data within PLM system.
- Assistance in preparation of Engineering Release packs.
- Review and present design concepts and solutions at a range of levels within the organisation.
- Investigate and support issue resolution during prototype, pre-production and production phases of the vehicle life cycle.
