The CAD/CAM Specialist serves as a technical subject matter expert (SME) responsible for developing, standardizing, and optimizing multi-axis CNC machining strategies. The role focuses on process ownership, advanced CNC programming, and ensuring alignment between design, manufacturing, and quality functions within a regulated environment.
What will you be doing?The role is responsible for developing, standardizing, and optimizing advanced multi-axis CNC programming strategies using CAD/CAM software, while maintaining the integrity of CNC programs through structured file management. It involves leading the development of robust machining processes, including tooling selection, cutting parameters, fixturing concepts, and machining sequences, with strong emphasis on standardization, capability, and efficiency.
