Position Summary A Deli Bakery Associate provides exemplary customer service by adhering to the basic beliefs and values of Walmart, maintains and zones the Bakery and/or Deli area, and assists with stocking and the sale of goods.
What You’ll Do
- Zones the department to ensure product shelves, tables and bunkers are organized and product is in the correct location.
- Rotates stock and checks for expired products.
- Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced.
- Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell‑by dates, and expiration dates.
- Takes orders for Deli Department merchandise; prepares hot food merchandise and provides requested assistance.
- Prepares deli food orders using utensils; prepares chicken with the rotisserie oven; fills prepared side dishes for placement into the display area.
